Grading Scale
A = 90% and up
B = 80% - 89%
C = 70% - 79
D = 60% - 69%
Grading Policy
Reasonable time will be given to complete assignments, in and/or out of class. Late work will be reduced by 50%. WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL IT IS 100% COMPLETE. Students will be allowed one additional day for each day of absence to complete missed assignments. (Example: 2 absences = 2 additional days)
Connections time (30 minute 5th period M-F) can be utilized for extra time to complete assignments, receive help or make up a test. Students are simply required to fill out the connections log in the daily planner and have it signed by the appropriate teachers.
Helpful Advice
- Turn in quality work on time.
- Check your grades often.
- Check the Weekly Agenda when you are absent, and/or see me immediately following an absence.
- Keep graded assignments organized in your composition book, and/or binder.
